Installing Office 2007 on Windows 8 system

I have Office 2007 and have purchased new computer  operating Windows 8. Will Office 2007 work? I have discs with product key. Am I better off purchasing Office 2010 or installing Office 2007 and upgrading to Office 2010 on the new computer?

The "edit wrap points" in Publisher 2013 don't seem to work. Is there a solution?

Other than cropping, I was able to use edit wrap points to edit pictures to get just a portion of the object.  How does this work in Publisher 2013?

Our users are unable to use the Outlook To Do app in the Outlook desktop client.

It gives the error "There was a problem connecting to this app". Just doing a quick Google search it looks like a widespread problem. I have a ticket open with MS but no answers yet. It does work in the Outlook online app.
