Is there any way to disable junk-mail/spam filtering completely in Outlook.com? I'd prefer my Windows client to handle this locally, thus everything I receive to my @outlook.com address should be going into Inbox.

The whole ordeal is pretty stupid and there is still no solution that really does it for me. Even Microsofts own mails regularly get moved to the junk folder!
I want to forward all mails to my main account but:
I currently have the rule setup to forward mails with the category NOT contacts. Any idea if this will catch most mails or if there is a better single rule?
it said to disable filter, so you are answering the opposite way
"with/without attachment" strategy is partly helpful. Yes, this strategy will effectively "turn off" the junk mail folder; all messages that previously went to the junk mail folder now go to the inbox.
However, the more severe problem is not solved. The spam filter actually DELETE some messages (particularly from gmail.com) without sending them to the junk mail folder, or sending warning message to the sender and/or receiver of the deleted mail.
Probably the "DELETE" filter is applied before the filter that send the message to the "junk." I really want to turn off the former filter because I use my Hotmail address as an "out-of-the-office" account of my main address.
This is quite unnecessary. JL Miller pointed you to the solution just two days ago, as I and several others have done many times in the past (read the thread!): two rules - with and without attachment, move to Inbox. Works perfectly every time.
