Surface Pro 3 does not connect to recent Samsung Series 7 TV

Hi,

my Surface Pro 1 does connect well with my Samsung Smart TV series 7. However, my new Samsung Pro 3 wont connect. It finds the TV and then tries to establish connection and asks to wait - maybe the TV should not popup a PIN code - but that never happens and the connection times out. Interestingly the Surface Pro 3 gets listed in the Samsung network device settings and is set to "allowed" for connection but the Surface Pro 3 still wont connect. Note i have deployed all latest updates on Samsung TV as well as Surface Pro 3.

I would appreciate to get this working again.

Thx,

Bernd

Dear Josh ( sorry for my not perfect english :( )

Since 1 year i'm still waiting for my PRO 3 to work with any of my Samsungs TV's .

Yess PRO 3 has to be working like stated in the IEEE ( otherwhise , this sertificate isn't stated )

But yes the Samsungs are on the list and yes also the PRO 3 .

Now bein looking for answers for a long time ( 1 year ) , and it seen pretty forward to blame SAMSUNG not ?

So the problem is the chipset in the PRO 3 , make it work , fix it and test it .

Hope MICROSOFT MAKES WORK OF IT !

Like many others i've bought the PRO 3 it's a great device but the screen isn't to big , we need that extra monitor or tv .

    Thanks IK
