Surface devices are built to the Miracast standards as outlined by the IEEE committee. Please check your display/TV manufacturer's website for wireless compatibility with your display/TV.

i have the same problem here. I just bought an SP3 and it do not work with my Samsung tv.
Its really annoying because my old HP Elitepad 901, my Lumia 930 and a HP Envy works without a problem.
For me it is too easy to say that Samsung has to do his Job. I think there is no "black and White" and i assume that Microsoft can handle the Problem with an easy Driver update. But, Microsoft typical, they ignore the interests of their customer
