OneDrive Save button and Folders grayed out on iPhone but other clouds are not

Onedrive folders and Save button are grayed out on my iphone when I have tried to "Save to Files" through the Files App. The folders for some reason are showing as read only in the App as well which is quite weird.

However other cloud services such as google drive, dropbox save to iphone and the Save button are not grayed out and completely available to save too.

This was working previously but all of a sudden has stopped for no reason. I am site administrator on this account having full permissions from a microsoft end and have checked the settings in the iphone to allow access to all photos. I have not changed any settings either or read only.

Go to the Apple website, select support, select either iPad or iPhone, scroll down to the bottom to the Get Support link on the right, follow the bouncing ball, selecting app issue, adding your serial number, etc. and then select exception - if your support period is over (depending how old your iPad Pro is, mine is a second gen, so too old, but your iPhone SE 2nd gen should be covered - so maybe select that at the beginning) and select the option that you recently upgraded to iOS 13 (yes, I know, but that’s the only viable option you get and it works). Ask for a call back and someone should call you within 2 minutes (an automated robot first, asking you to press 1 or 2 to speak to someone) and you’ll have the fun of going through the lame first line stuff. By all means, try to get through to a senior advisor straight away and quote my case number (Case: 101358273162) as a reference, stating that you have the same issue and it may expedite things a little (though probably not).

    Best...

Thanks!  I read the article and truly hope that others find it in their Google Search quests looking for a solution to the problem.

As I mentioned earlier today, this AM I did send a request for the problem to be fixed via the Microsoft OneDrive App "Report A Problem".  Suggestion on the best way to contact Apple to request the problem to be fixed on their end?

I just published an article on LinkedIn to hopefully make more people aware and get them submitting support requests. Enjoy...

CreaghW - Thank you very much for your continued work on this issue!  I reported the problem this AM to Microsoft via the OneDrive App "Report A Problem".  I outlined what you had noted in your response, as well as added additional information noting that the "Sharing" workaround is not a viable substitute for fixing the "Save to File" problem.  The Sharing workaround does not allow you to save a file to a Subfolder within the OneDrive File folder and it does not allow you to rename the file before saving it.  I utilize many subfolders within my OneDrive Files Folder, thus the current workaround is costing me much valuable time having to "move things around" and rename them once they are in OneDrive.

Please keep us posted on any further developments on your end and I will do the same.
