Data Protection Team Response Time: No call after 9 days

Hi Microsoft staff,

I currently no access to my business account.

I have called support on 2 occasions (2******7) and (2******6) this first being 9 days ago now.

I understand only the data protection team can help me regain access

I have been advised there is usually a 48 hour turn around; however, there is a backlog due to Covid-19.

Can someone please escalate this matter and call me asap? We cant produce any work at the moment for our clients or respond to queries. Everything is run through 365.

Kind regards

NathanM4

Sorry to hear about your experience. We have fortunately regain access to ours after nearly 3 weeks!!!

I wish you all the best, minimum 14 day hold with Data Protection is what we told by MS escalation tech.

Here is what got things moving for us:

    1. Went to Microsoft Arbitration process
    2. Involved our legal department, counsel submitted letter with our intents to sue

As soon as we involved our lawyer, things got moving within hours.

Kind of extreme but unfortunately, this was needed to get things moving. Unless this is a strage coincidence, seems like the lawyer got things moving in a hurry.

I have also been waiting 9 days now for a reply, absolute joke!,

I have contacted them again for another issue I need them to resolve and it sounded like they just wanted me off the phone!

    Hi  Nathan,

Sorry for the bad experience, I checked the case details and found that the owner of this case didn’t seem to read case history and notes, but the provided some general troubleshooting steps and suggestions, which you already have tried it before and know that you can’t reset your password at present.

I have reported it to the relevant person, who told me that he will send an email to notify the Data Protection Team to help you further.

    Best Regards,

    Arck
