Data Protection Team Response Time: No call after 9 days

Hi Microsoft staff,

I currently no access to my business account.

I have called support on 2 occasions (2******7) and (2******6) this first being 9 days ago now.

I understand only the data protection team can help me regain access

I have been advised there is usually a 48 hour turn around; however, there is a backlog due to Covid-19.

Can someone please escalate this matter and call me asap? We cant produce any work at the moment for our clients or respond to queries. Everything is run through 365.

Kind regards

NathanM4

So I'm not the only one frustrated with Microsoft's lack of support! I have a total of over 10 hours of on-hold time. I'm calling in on two phones (yet again) today - been on hold for over 5 hours just today. This is week 3 of trying to get a password reset.

What's shameful is that this is how they treat paying customers!

    Hi,

It was finally resolved for me although I had to wait almost two weeks.

Very inconvenient and I was extremely unhappy since I am paying for a business product.

I would like to add when I finally did speak to a staff member they were very good. Just be mindful they are just following the process and cant deviate from this. It would be nice to see Microsoft increase staff in this team as it's clearly required.

MS has customers because corporate bean counters saw that "Office" was cheaper 30 years ago. And because corporate IT does not have to deal with MS support.

    .

When it comes to trivial problems, MS's outsourced support staff are adequate. When it comes to more difficult ones, not so much.  You are actually an exception. Many people who complain here about the service complain that they do NOT get promised phone calls, you got one even if you avoided it as spam because it did not identify as being from MS.

    .

Take your complaint public to social media. Especially as a business user/owner MS tends to respond to social media complaints.

    .

Social Media- Twitter - Make your Pain Public, maybe then MS will fix the problem – And they usually reply

    Hi Rohn007,

Thank you for taking the time to provide this information - its appreciated.

If this matter is not resolved by the COB today, I will certainly be investigating these options.

    Thanks again.

    Kind regards
