Office 2013 missing after June 11 Microsoft auto upates

Following an automatic update I cannot open any office programs. What happens to all my emails ( cannot find any files...seem all deleted) if I reload Microsoft office?

Unless they got deleted somehow (which they don't during uninstalls with either Control Panel or the Office Fix file) your email .pst files are in My Documents\Outlook Files and the older type .ost email files are in C:\Users\username\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Outlook
and there are configuration files and signature files found here: C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\ and C:\Users\username\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook\Signatures. These folders have been left behind in every uninstall I have done and when you reinstall they ensure that when you open Outlook it is setup just like when you uninstalled it. But you have to do one more thing to preserve the email accounts or else having the email doesn't do any good unless you re-create the accounts and import it in from those files. To save that work, before you uninstall Office, go to the registry with regedit.exe and export this key:

KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office<version>\Outlook\Profiles

After the reinstall, before opening Outlook the first time, merge that exported key with your registry, make sure that those files I mentioned in the last paragraph are there and then open Outlook. It should be identical to what it was before the crash. Just remember, you have to do the registry to save all your email accounts and have the files so that you have all your email data and the settings from Outlook. The only thing you might have to do is enter your passwords the first time it checks email, because passwords are not saved. Now having said that, the first reinstall i did I had to re-enter the passwords. On other machines I have not had to re-enter them. They are already there somehow. So, either way, if you follow the above directions you save your Outlook configuration and the worst that you have to do is re-enter passwords if that.

The Fixit KB2827031 did nothing to assist - it had Office endlessly 'hanging' until I rebooted.

But  removing OFFICE with 015ctrremove.diagcab worked well and promptly acontext nd the reinstall was slow but easy as I have the Product Key -entered this on www.office/my account and then prompts steered me to a download Office online.  (hope this make sense in context of recent messages)

NO thanks to MS and its apparent disinterest in its Client base, mind you saying this I did get this solution from within their 'belly of information' only after your good detective work.

That's not the same issue of the click to run issues being discusses but it is a cause of Outlook not launching

Recent security updates have introduced an issue with DirectX that mandates that you have good solid video drivers. 

1. go to the video driver site and check to see if you have the latest version
2. or if that doesn't work disable aero

or

3. as you have done disable hardware acceleration

Not sure if this is the same issue that everyone else is having, but I finally installed the June 11 updates today.  I had worked on getting fixed all day with no luck, even re-installing as recommended on this site.  I finally ended up on tech support with MS.  I let the tech remote into my machine and Outlook instantly opened.  He logged out and I couldn't open it.  He logged back in and it opened fine.  He then (while logged in) turned off Graphic acceleration in Outlook and set Data Execution Prevention to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select"  since then everything works fine.  Just thought I would throw this out there in case it can cut down someone else's trouble shooting time.
