Do you know the exact error you’re getting?

Depending on the error or the problem, there are different steps you can take and there are Microsoft articles that can help. For example:

If you get an error that contains “integratedoffice.exe”, look at this article: Fix integratedoffice.exe install errors in Office 2013 or Office 365.

If the installation is hanging at different percentages, look at this article: Microsoft Office 2013 or Office 365 hangs during setup.

If the download is very slow, look at this article: Downloading Office 2013 is slow.

There’s also an article that provides general troubleshooting steps for Office setup: General troubleshooting for installing Office 2013 and Office 365 .

You can also go to this page on Microsoft Support to find more Office 2013 install articles. Or, this page for Office 365 Home Premium articles.

If you’d rather contact support, look at this page for Office 2013 support options, and this page for Office 365 Home Premium support options.

hi, I had the same issue activating Office 365 after buying it. No specific error, no code etc just "something went wrong". I have found the following on MS site which helped me:

I'm now OK, hope this helps others as well.

YES! Thank you! This definitely did it for me. What's crazy to me is that regular users shouldn't be having to wander into the registry to fix an issue--that's just asking for trouble--but there's not really any clue for them when they get an error that merely says "Something went wrong." Thanks for the solution @Alex Con! You rock.
