I AM NOT GETTING THE SOUND NOTIFICATIONS AGAIN :( This is after my pc was updated (microsoft windows). It also is affecting my fingerprint sensor. It does not work anymore. I have to login by typing my PIN :(

HELLO EVERYONE! My email notification sound is BACK. I did not do anything. It just happened today when I logged in. I am using web outlook and chrome browser. I honestly did not make any changes with my settings. So, I guess, Microsoft has already fixed this. Please check yours

I started experiencing this just today. I have been using outlook web for almost two years now and it just happened today. I have turned on all notif as well as in my Google chrome browser, and my pc. All notif has been turned on.
I have also refreshed the settings by turning it off and on, restarted my pc twice today, nothing works.
I have signed in to another outlook account which I also owned for work, and it is doing just fine. Notif sound is working. But in my main email, the email I am using in posting this, is not working at all. Please help. I need the notif sound so I could action all email requests at work on time.

I have had this issue all week long. I went to my settings and turned OFF my notifications and clicked save. Then I signed out of my account by clicking on my profile icon in the top right of my browser. I signed back in, then went back to my settings and turned ON my notifications, clicked save, and voila! I have sound for all of my received emails again. I hope this helps someone!

I wasted over three hours today with FIVE different agents via Microsoft Support Chat with no results other than increased aggravation on my part. Have reset Edge, updated sound card drivers and quintuple verified that ALL my sound and notification settings are correct. This is an incredible nuisance. For years I have relied on that notification sound. I can't keep checking my email every two minutes to see if I'm missing something important. i DO get a visual notification IF I happen to be sitting in front of the screen, but that does NOT suffice.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
