I proactively updated my corporate password because it was expiring in a few days.
Ran into the same issue with Samsung Email. Would hang up during authentication and not authenticate.
I have a Samsung Z Fold and Samsung Email, I was told by my corporate TAC to uninstall and reinstall Samsung Email.
Once I did that it was able to authenticate properly with Authenticator and email/Calendar/Contacts were updated properly.
I was having the same issue with my Galaxy S21. It wouldn't stay logged onto my Outlook email account for more than a few hours. The advice given above didn't make a difference. I think I found the answer! When you create the account in your Samsung email app you have to create it as an Exchange account. Before I was creating it as a simple Outlook or Microsoft 365 account. Now it's been logged in for 24 hours and synch with email, calendar and contacts is immediate and seamless. I'm happy it's working the way it should, but am unimpressed with Microsoft's lame assistance. We are left to figure out their complex and balky software by ourselves.
I am also having the same issue since I reset my phone over the last few days.
Whats interesting and might be nothing, is that despite me setting up the account as Office 365, it appears to complete as an Exchange setup.
Hopefully Samsung can fix it soon.
Same issue. Samsung mail seems to be having issues. Mitigated with Outlook.
