Sent emails disappeared

Hello,

This is really frustrating.

I too have all my sent emails disappeared. Really very important ones.

I have not deleted them nor have I changed any settings.

I have been in touch with a representative with both outlook live and outlook com. Both were not able to help and I was told they will pass on the problem to their developers. I asked if I can contact them directly but that was not possible.

I was made to add on mail recovery despite me telling them I did not delete these messages they have disappeared from the folder.

Any help would be great.

Hi ,I have had similar issues - all my sent emails after 2022 and any recent ones were no longer showing. After reading this thread and looking at other similar ones I could not get them back. I kept looking at settings and nothing came to light.

 When looking at the open sent items folder I clicked on "Filter" on the top right hand corner then "Sort" and finally "Date" and hey presto the sent items all reappeared.  This was previously set correctly as far as I know so it appears that maybe just refreshing the setting did the trick. Perhaps there is some glitch.

     This might be totally unrelated to the issues others have been having but will still post in case it is helpful to someone.

Same issue to report. All Outlook 'Sent Item' history prior to 13-Apr-2024 has been removed from my account.

(i) Nothing in 'Deleted', (ii) 'Archive' folders do not contain any details, (iii) no retention policy configured, (iv) no 'Rules' reference Sent Item management, (v) no 'Junk' policy references 'Sent Items', (vi) no availability of historic messages when using 'Search' functionality.

Outlook version on Desktop / Outlook.com present same result - have been using the service for 10 years with no issues - this is a recent change.

Looks like 'Sent Item' history prior to 13-Apr-2024 removed from my account.

Steps please - to arrange recovery/access to that information.

I have checked all folders multiple times, nothing is there.

I have everything private on my phone so it is on safe mode while accessing the net etc.

Is there anyway I can get back all deleted emails in sent folder?? This is really important to me.

I have cleared cache and everything. I used another 2 devices and same issue is still there.

Please see if I can get all my sent emails back as soon as possible.

I have the exact same problem as of today - all my sent messages, except for the last few days, have disappeared.
