Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

When will you solve this problem for once and for all. It is annoying the fact that Microsoft keeps logging me out and I have to create multiple passwords over and over again. Now it doesn't connect at all.

I wonder if they are no longer supporting that version of Android (8.1), which would suck since that's what the latest BB devices run.

So the latest Hub+ Services update does not work with Key2? Google store does not even show me the update neither Hub+ Services at all. My crrent working version is 2.2212.2.3978

I actually managed to sync outlook.com calendar and contacts between phones when I installed outlook app on Key2. Outlook.com e-mails still only visible only on outlook app.

Probably the Hub+ services update is not compatible with Android 8.1 we have on Key2.

Hey did you find soultion? I am also stuck with key2 and android 8.1.

No updates visible in playstore for both INBOX and HUB+Services even though I enrolled as BETA....

All my emails are .hotmail and they cant be authenticated anymore....Tried all that was written on this forum...But no success....

I also am not sure how to setup 2step verification for this emails, can anyone help?

For those old folks who are still using BB Priv / Android 6, there may be a workaround on the BB Hub+ MS security related issue, for emails at least - provided that you have MS Authenticator set up on your old phone for the Outlook / Hotmail accounts that did not work anymore in BB Hub+. I used this work around on my BB Priv, which has Android 6 and will not get the BB Hub+ update when it becomes officially available. What I did was to install Outlook Lite. During set up of email accounts in Outlook Lite, I used MS Authenticator to authenticate my Outlook / Hotmail accounts. Then I use BB Hub+ feature for including an App - Outlook Lite - into BB Hub+. l have not yet tried to integrate Contacts, but at least I have Messages and Emails together in the BB Hub+.

Basically, I was passing the email account Authentication buck (or should I say bug) to MS Authenticator once and for all.

So as we all have been dealing with authentication error for months now, a weird thing happened to me when I was trying to fix it one last time... I originally was getting the error on the Microsoft free account, but my work Exchange and Google accounts where still okay... Same on my other older device running Android 8. Since I heard the new beta might be working I updated to v2.2436.2 on my Android 14 device and it still did NOT work... Now getting errors on the MS Exchange account and Google. (we know now with Google things have changed so, just use the Google app password and it should work using IMAP, And if you use that account with your Android phone you get all the contacts etc to sync anyways on that account... ) It would NOT authenticate no matter what and with any sign-in method you could use... So, I decided to simply uninstall BB HUB Services and Inbox and cleared cache and data on Inbox first (Services won't let you clear data). Reinstalled and it did remember the 4 email accounts it had so then you click "yes" use the existing accounts, (some how it knows even though you cleared it) and every one of them installed worked perfect and authenticated without issue now for several days and counting... AND I did the same thing on my Android 8 device using BB v2.2212.1.383 and v2.2212.1.3978 for Services and now it too works perfectly with Google, MS ActiveSync (free account), and MS Exchange "work account". Both older and newer version of BB HUB+ Services are working with no issues. Not sure what to make of it at this point... Did MS change something??
