Hello, I have changed my password with outlook and after I tried to updated with BlackBerry hub services either on my android device or Pixel 8 can't authenticate or connect to server errors persists. Microsoft Azure certificate comes faulty as well and I need a solution for it because it looks like nobody in this office using BlackBerry hub app in pixel 8 and even BlackBerry key2 can't connect to outlook. After uninstall and reinstall does the same "can't connect to server" or "can't authenticate" error not on exchange server, imap or pop. I tried everything and Microsoft seems not to answer questions about it.

I just follow the normal prompts for setting-up a Hotmail account. I'm not going to jump through hoops to get an app working that I am paying for; if BB can't be bothered to update their app to work with Microsoft's new procedures then I'll just bin Hub+ and use the Outlook app or the free Samsung Email app.

I've already suspended my payments for the Hub+, will give it till the end of March, if nothing's improved by then, BB is gone.

This is a Microsoft problem, not a BlackBerry problem.

Re: "I'd suggest everyone flood them with support tickets..."

like you say, you need to be a subcriber, to submit a support ticket to BB.

Reviews of BB Hub+ app on Google Play Store is another way to report user dissatisfaction to BB, that this once excellent email/calendar etc app is no longer working properly with Outlook, since the Jan 2024 authentication changes.

More recent reviews on Google Play Store are negative with complaints about the Outlook authentication isssue. There have been some BB replies to some reviews that they are aware, but not saying any more.

I don't want only Outlook email on BB Hub+, I want both email in/out and calendar. So I am not interested in email only work-rounds that have been posted elsewhere in this thread.

Yes, I am aware of that, indeed that is what I did for the account using two-step authentication; it makes no difference at all, both that account, and the one not using two-step authentication, still produce the password issue in BB Hub+.

However, using the Samsung mail app does not have any issues with Hotmail, proving that Hotmail can work fine with at least one 3rd party app, but obviously not with BB Hub+ at the moment.

I've done what Walter Matthaus describes, and it works for two of my outlook accounts but not the third. It really is hit and miss - so frustrating, as the third is (of course) my main personal email account.

I do wonder whether just as the other manufacturers drove out the BB handsets (the best ever business handsets in my opinion) so MS are now trying to drive out BB Hub+ (still the best business email/contacts/calendar app IMO). If so, I will move my (paid) business and (free) personal Outlook emails to another paid service that isn't a bully and isn't forever faffing around with different formats - and that works with Hub+ without my having to scour the internet for workarounds!
