For some reason I've lost the toolbar at the bottom of the email that allows easy changing of fonts, colours, layouts and attaching files without having to open the format text menu or Insert menus![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/bf74c16b-6555-43c6-abe2-a67ac16a3f7d?platform=QnA

I have had the same problem in last couple of days. Surprised Microsoft has not responded to anyone. What is going on? Has anyone reported this to Microsoft? They need to get their act together because this is turning out to be a real headache! Some changes are not always an improvement. This is a good example!

I have the paid Office 365 Suite and it's absolutely still a problem as of today for me, @RonKrause2.

Oddly, in Outlook settings, the option for "compose and reply" clearly shows the toolbar at the bottom of the page, so Microsoft is now inconsistent with how they display our options. Other websites state you can make changes to the location of the tool bar by going to an "Advanced" option within Outlook, but I do not see that option on my list. For the record, I am using the free Office software version. Wondering if there are more options if I purchased 365 which I do not want to do.
