Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Same Problem here. I deleted all my e-mails but my one drive is still full and I still can't receive e-mails. It seems that I too has to switch to google.

I can not receive or send email because One drive is full. My one drive is full over 5GB but my email is only 2.6GB out of 15GB yet I cannot use my email. Why is it using my One drive quota for my email?

My one drive is full and remains full despite how many e-mails I delete.
Also despite the fact that I have enough e-mail storage space, I am still not receiving emails, can someone clarify.
yea going to Gmail for sure...can not send or receive emails because I've stopped paying what a joke.
I just got hit with this same evil policy. Be careful, I tried to free up space by stopping syncing folders which I didn't need synced, like pictures and documents and desktop. In doing this I have deleted the files. Its an utterly disgusting tactic to drive sales of storage which has completely destroyed all trust in Microsoft. I hope this turns a generation against Microsoft and is a case study in future business lectures.
PS This effected my personal email, I cant wait to cancel my business enterprise plan which is also with Microsoft and give this reason.
You have to take everything off OneDrive too. Not just your email account. I went to OneDrive and reopened everything I wanted to keep on my computer and saved it to my computer. Then I deleted everything in One Drive. You also have to turn off synching, otherwise OneDrive will sync to every device you are running and saving everything to the cloud. So, stop synching on all your devices, then go to OneDrive, resave what you want to your computer, then delete everything in OneDrive. That is what I had to do, and I got my email account back. Also, in your email account, clear out junk folder, deleted folder, archived folder, Sent folder and every other folder you created. You should have your email account back after that.
