Hotmail/Outlook.com junk mail filter not working

It seems that from the early hours of this morning 20/02/2023 the junk mail filter on hotmail.com email addresses has stopped working. This has happened to both my partner and myself and we have tried to find the Settings menu item to ensure this is set to High and it does not seem to exist anymore!
Please can someone please let us know how to re-instate the High junk mail filter so that only known senders emails appear in Inbox and all other senders go to the Junk folder. I have used this setting for YEARS but overnight something seems to have updated and my Inbox is now full of my junk email.
It's as though something has been updated/removed overnight that should not have.
