Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Over 3 years since this was suggested, and the problem still persists. I don't Microsoft is going to solve this. They seem to want to force us over on web Outlook.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I open MS to Do app and open whether it is an email flagged or a task from my planner in teams when I try to open it, it opens in the web-based instead of the desktop. Am I missing a connector to my desktop or something?

Still facing the same issue
Another vote for this to be fixed and/or optioned!
I know! Such a simple and useful upgrade. Why is it taking so long Microsoft?
Even some feedback as to whether this is in the pipeline or not would be welcome….
Thank you
How has this not been fixed yet, given the overwhelming evidence that it is a necessary feature for most ToDo app users? If the developers aren't skilled enough to do this simple task, hire new ones. Microsoft is certainly rich enough. Smart enough, though? Probably not. Pathetic people.
