    Hi Johnny,

When said Outlook.live, were you referring to outlook.live.com or outlook.office.com? For our troubleshooting, it is important to use same Office 365 for business email account you had the issue with.

If you're results were related to outlook.office.com, please try to repair your Outlook desktop client as suggested in the previous reply.

If the tests were related to outlook.live, which is using non Office 365 email account, please test whether you can send email message from outlook.office.com with your Office 365 account credentials.

Also, please check whether From field in Outlook desktop client> New message contains your or different email address.

For the additional information, I'd like to know whether the other users in your tenant face the same issue.

    Best regards,

    Nemanja

    Hi!

It happens when I try to send or reply an email. No error message, just an email that tells me it could not send that email. Looks like this.

Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:

*(removed by moderator to protect privacy)*The email system had a problem processing this message. It won't try to deliver this message again.

    Hi Johnny,

The error message looks like a server respond according to which you're Send as permission is not valid.

I'd like to start troubleshooting with using different email client. Since you have Office 365 for Business account, you can use both Outlook desktop app and Outlook on Web client. Please test whether you can reproduce the issue in both clients and if not, you can use the second client as a workaround solution until we resolve the issue.

If the issue is just on Outlook desktop client side, please try to repair it - Control panel> Programs> Programs and features> select Office 365> Change> Repair> Quick repair.

If the issue appears on both side, I'd like to collect some additional information for the further troubleshooting:

    • After which action the message appears? Do you see it as an error message when you click send or you receive this in NDR message after sending email?
    • Please provide me with the complete message and screenshot.
    • Is this related to Send as permission you have to another account or you receive it when sending email from your account?

Also, if you can reproduce the issue in both clients, please let your admin check SPF DNS record in your Office 365.

    Best regards,

    Nemanja
