How to switch back to old "Hotmail" interface layout? (Aug 2016)

Good post.

The replys we keep getting seems to be insinuating we chose to upgrade.

I never chose.

I started having problems with my company Microsoft account and that night my personal one was screwed up.

On my windows phone at the time was even worse than the desktop. Yes bring back the pages. Have a choice of choosing.

Ok Sachin, you have told us at least 50 times that we can't go back to the older interface - even though you changed it without asking us if we wanted it.

So how about doing the following which might help us a bit.

1  When we click through emails, stop them jumping up and down and make them stay in one place

2  Divide emails into pages and number them as before so we can get an idea of how many we have

3  When sorting by date give us the option to pick a date and when sorting alphabetically give us the option to chose a letter so we don't have to scroll through endless emails to find what we want

4  Stop our folders randomly disappearing

5  When I flag an item, make it go to the top as before.  Isn't this the whole point of flagging an item?

6  Make it easier to see the email address of the sender without having to open it

7  Give us the option of when viewing emails alphabetically not to have without the senders name on a separate line above the email so the emails are sectioned off. This is really irritating

8  Enable sort by date or alphabetical with one click as before

I am sure there are more things but these are the few that come to mind at the moment.

It would be nice if you could reply with a positive answer rather than repeat your favourite phrase -  Once the account is upgraded there is no way it can go back to older interface.

Your assertion here that the account was upgraded is both false and misleading...... the new interface is a DOWNGRADE of the earlier mail versions.

I don't mind the new formal so much (not that great) but the BCC is so erratic that I can't use it anymore it just keeps disappearing every time I click on an address, Some addresses also won't allow me to edit them, they disappear when I start to make a change to them so I have to use my phone to make the change. now I have to use Gmail for BCC letters.

I would like to go back to Hotmail but its too late now. I may just quit using Outlook since its not that useable now. I'm using W8 Pro, everything is updated.

Microsoft please fix these issues soon.

I think I will have to migrate to gmail.

I hate the new version. I want the other one back.
