I am receiving continuos emails from microsoft saying that lost connection to google account, everytime I reconnect after about 10 min microsoft lost connection again and I receive another email.

Is the problem some config in google account or changes in google services?

Is the problem some config in  microsoft account security?

Note: When reconnecting, the permission asked by google is only offline access.

    1. Sign-in to https://account.live.com.

    3. If you see your Google account, click the Edit button.
    4. Make sure to select "Send email from your Gmail address using Outlook.com".
    5. Click the Save button.
    6. If you did not see the **"Send email from your Gmail address using Outlook.com"**option, click the Remove this connection completely.
    7. Then lastly click the Remove button again for confirmation.

    Hi Christina

    I don't understand this bit...

Also, please provide the additional information in accessing your account.

    • Screenshot of the page were you encounter this issue
    • Fiddler trace logs

Please post this details in the private message area that I have created for security reasons.

Screenshot of what? It's an email that Microsoft send out. The same one that many people in this thread have already quoted or shown.

This has the feeling of being like the beginnings of the same generic support circle that has happened several times in this thread where you eventually tell us to unlink the account and relink it and we tell you it doesn't work. Can we not just skip that phase and move on to the fixing it bit

    thanks

    Hi Rodolpho,

    Thank you for posting back.

I understand that you are still having the same issue. Let me further assist you with this.

I have read this thread and can see that you have done all the troubleshooting steps to resolve this. However, upon checking your account, I found out that your Gmail account was not successfully synced to your Microsoft account. This could be the possible reason why you are still receiving those " reconnect emails".

With this, we would like you to reconfigure again your Gmail account to your Microsoft account using the steps below:

    1. Go to this link.
    2. Click Edit under Google icon.
    3. On the next page, click Remove this connection completely.
    4. Click Remove.
    5. Go to this link.
    6. You might be asked to enter again your password, please enter Outlook.com password.
    7. Under Related accounts, click Add accounts.
    8. Click Google icon.
    9. Click Accept.
    10. Click Done.

Let us know how things turn out.

    Regards,

    Grace

I did that and didn't receive the reconnect email yet, but the chat with google contacts is not avaiable.

    -EDIT-

I receive the "Reconnect Google" email now!

I also tried to unlink/relink my Google account, and the problem keeps happening. Why don't you just acknowledge that there is a problem on your side and start working on fixing it? Are the developers even aware of that issue?
