Is there any way to disable junk-mail/spam filtering completely in Outlook.com? I'd prefer my Windows client to handle this locally, thus everything I receive to my @outlook.com address should be going into Inbox.

On top... I just noticed that this thread has been carrying on for 5 years already.
The more proof that MS doesn't really care what we think/want.
I don't want to use IMAP - it forces me to store the .ost file on C:
With the good old .pst files they can be stored within an encrypted drive.
BTW Gmail as a major drawback, at least it had some years ago, reason why I switched to Outlook.
Once mails have been viewed on your smartphone/tablet during your holidays or something, the mail apparently is marked as 'read', or so, and you won't be able to get them in Outlook anymore. Period.
The only way to get them into Outlook is to send the mail to your own email address.
Outlook does not have this issue.
GMail did not solve this* and has a bit of a same attitude as MS with this 'junk-mail' thing. They don't care.
(* maybe they solved it over the last couple of years, I don't know)
there is enough evidence that MS is doing this to deliberately prevent user from using pop3 or other email client software, this is at the cost of user unknowing losing important legitimate emails.
there should be an class action lawsuit against this kind of evil behavior.
Microsoft, please be a decent company, have a little bit of conscience, bring back the option that user can turn off the spam filter
Apparently there is no way to prevent important emails been flag as spam. Hotmail put 80% of my important emails to junk and less than 10% of spam to "junk" folder. To make it worst, it automatically delete emails from the "junk" folders at random intervals. The "Junk" filter take precedence over any other filter you can setup, so there is no way to prevent it.
Microsoft is deliberately doing this to prevent us from using POP / SMTP service to manage our emails using a real email application. That's their way to force us using their crap, or forcing us to move to real email services like GMail.
what is DashlanePlugin? I get a message each time saying my DashlanePlugin is not operating - log off and try again. Also some of my good emails are going into my "Spam Folder" and I only find them by accident. I ha tried repeatedly to "Uninstall" my
Dashlane but it comes right back.
It looks to be a password manager, don't think it has anything to do with the spam filter or emails going to the junk folder.
