Is there any way to disable junk-mail/spam filtering completely in Outlook.com? I'd prefer my Windows client to handle this locally, thus everything I receive to my @outlook.com address should be going into Inbox.

Exactly what I've been trying to work out, but it's like talking to a brick wall trying to get any sense out of Microsoft.

Their stupid spam filter is even sending their own "Bing" <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***> to the junk folder! They're censoring themselves!

Now I keep getting "This website has been classified as malicious." blocking by Office365 (?) when I follow perfectly safe links from trusted senders?

So when I go online and log in to Outlook I find my junk folder FULL of important, trusted senders. How long before they delete these? 10 DAYS! So how many have been deleted already without my knowledge, probably hundreds of important emails! Am I supposed to log in online and check this every week??

    What a joke, absolute rubbish!

Holy poo they've even censored their own email address from Bing out of my comment, bing-at-e.microsoft.com for "privacy reasons".

This "smart" technology sure is pretty stupid?

Then it looks like you have not rules or blocks setup.

    Now I'm even more confused.

So this has nothing to do with the spam filter or my emails going to the junk folder, and makes no difference?

I must have misunderstood your advice/suggestion to the other poster in your original comment.

    Cheers anyway and thanks.

When logged into Outlook.com, click on the gear icon in the upper right and select Options.

Then under Automated Processing click on Inbox and Sweep Rules and delete the rules.

Then under Junk Email click on Blocked Senders and deleted the Blocks

Thank you for that, but both my Inbox Rules and Sweep Rules are empty, as is also my Blocked Senders.

So there is nothing there to delete?

    Does that make any sense?
