Is there any way to disable junk-mail/spam filtering completely in Outlook.com? I'd prefer my Windows client to handle this locally, thus everything I receive to my @outlook.com address should be going into Inbox.

It's September 2014 and this is still unresolved. What's worse the workaround rule given by someone above doesn't work anymore.  *I mean the one containing "@" in the sender's address. Just noticed the second workaround with my own address as receipient

    • this one works. This just shows how badly the service works if you the user has to resort to such hacks.

Even though I am using the address on outlook.com as a secondary one and forward its emails to another service it still came back and kicked me in the shin. I was trying to purchase a camera for the last few weeks and ALL RESPONSES from shops were thrown into junk mail!! Not one actual spam message - all important emails. Someone even reserved the camera for me and kept writing back asking me to respond several times.

This is the last time I am using your shoddy service for anything other than some newsletter subscription and will discourage anyone asking from singing up.

I wonder why so many companies think they know better than end users about how the end user wants their mail delivered.  If a postal worker decided to hold on to mail because it didn't look right there would be an outcry so how come e-mail can be filtered without the end user being able to say he wants it all.

Come on Microsoft - some end users do know what they are doing and want to see all their messages and decide for themselves what is spam.

Thank you! My filter has been sending important emails to my junk mail. There were no actual 'junk' emails in my junk mail. Silly it can't be turned off, I created the rule above and it fixed everything. Thanks!!
