team mysterious ringing

the last week or so I get a random (i don't see a reason/activity for it when it happens) ringing in my headset...like a phone call ringtone, but there is no activity  on Teams.  No one is calling me or messaging me, there is not an upcoming meeting scheduled.

My IT support team thought it was something wrong/setting on my Jabra Evolve headset,   but I tried turning off a ringtone setting in the headset's settings, but yet, I still get this same mystery ringing still

any ideas what could be causing this ?

    Same problem right now as I type. Just hung up from a call with a colleague that I initiated and also disconnected from.

    I have a Poly SY20-M USB-A Speakerphone device (Teams Compliant and has the Teams Logo button on it) plugged into a HP Thuderbolt G4 dock via the built-in USB A cable and the dock is plugged into my corporate Win 11 HP Zbook laptop via the dock's USB C cable. The Bluetooth functionality of the speaker is not connected to the bluetooth of the laptop because I have bluetooth on the laptop turned off.

    I disconnected the Poly device from the dock and the tone continues to play on the laptop speakers.

    I disconnected the laptop from the G4 dock and the tone continues to play on the laptop speakers.

    Making a test call from the Device Settings in Microsoft Teams did stop the tone from playing.

    Fix this stupid issue Microsoft, It's such a cringe thing when it happens in an office over and over again when headphones disconnect.
    Why the hell do you need to hear a phone ring when headphones disconnect?

    Buggy software in production.

    I have the same problem, but mine rings 2 times when my computer wakes up from sleep.

    I have a user when he makes a Teams calls, 10 seconds after the call is answered the ringing starts and doesn't stop until he ends the call.

    He's using a Lenovo Yoga and Amazon Echo Dot. The ringing does not happen when he is not using the Echo Dot.
