I finally managed to solve this issue.
I purchased a new SSD and installed Windows 10. I am finally able to use Airpods pro and Sony WH-XB900N freely.

My Bluetooth earphones have been working well all the time until I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11. The laptop shows my earphones are connected, but neither sound nor microphone works. The browser and Zoom crash every time I try to use Bluetooth earphones to listen to music or join meetings.
I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting Bluetooth earphones, turning on/off Bluetooth, resetting my earphones, restarting my laptop, and none of these resolves the issues of no sound/mic and crashing. I even bought a new pair of Bluetooth earphones, and it did not work either.
I think this is a bug in Windows 11. Am I the only one facing this issue? What exactly is going on with Windows 11 Bluetooth? And what else can I do now?

Someone please tell me how to get off of this thread, please? I don't know how I got here. My original question didn't relate to this, specifically. Thanks you/.
I have had this same issue for months...really frustrating. Has anyone found a fix yet? Really regretting updating to windows 11.
This post from April was the fix for me. I ran the diagnostic tool and it fixed something, but it didn't indicate what exactly was fixed. It prompted me to reboot so I did that and when my laptop started back up, I had audio coming through my bluetooth earbuds. The whole process took less than five minutes. I have not tested the mic but I have clear nice sounding audio coming through.
Edit 11/23: mic is working too. My earbuds are "Murpiso pro 2".
Post from April:
Sometimes the Microsoft troubleshooters can identify and fix the problems.
This one is not in the menu.
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
I have the exact problem right now. It was working well for a couple of days with my Pixel Buds Pro and then suddenly stopped working. Any updates or solution for this?
