Windows 11 Bluetooth no sound/microphone and crashing

My Bluetooth earphones have been working well all the time until I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11. The laptop shows my earphones are connected, but neither sound nor microphone works. The browser and Zoom crash every time I try to use Bluetooth earphones to listen to music or join meetings.

I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting Bluetooth earphones, turning on/off Bluetooth, resetting my earphones, restarting my laptop, and none of these resolves the issues of no sound/mic and crashing. I even bought a new pair of Bluetooth earphones, and it did not work either.

I think this is a bug in Windows 11. Am I the only one facing this issue? What exactly is going on with Windows 11 Bluetooth? And what else can I do now?

MS hasn't even acknowledge the problem, I try my earbuds after the releases but nothing has changed.

WalterHildebrand: How do you think will we be informed if/when MS does anything about this problem? There are probably dozens of additional posts on this problem, distributed throughout the Community questions/posts. Is it possible that MS has actually come up with a solution but we're not receiving it via this thread?

My Letsfit T13 earbuds act as you described. But on Win 11 upgraded from 10 laptop, of I start Zoom before starting ang other software including the chrome browser and it is running in the background, they work as they did on Win.10. Using say YouTube or YouTube TV and other programs with sound all is well

If I stop Zoom running in the background, it reverts to the sound output issues. No others responding have apparently tried this, so don't know if I just stumbled on this and why it works with Zoom running in the background.

    Windows 11 stlill not fixed.

The strange thing is that if I start ZOOM before I start my Chrome or MSN browser, that the earbuds do work.

They work for all apps that I use the earbds for.

They continue to work as long as ZOOM is running in the background.

BUT, if I stop ZOOM running in the background then the problem of the earbuds not producing sound recurs.
