Windows 11 || Remove work or school account

Hi All,

I am using windows 11 home. I want to remove the work or school account as I am not using that account anymore. But I am not getting an option to remove the account from my system. I am not using that account in any of the apps and all the apps related to that account are deleted.

I searched online for the same. Usually, the option is to right-click on the account and delete it. But I am not getting that delete option.

Please let me know how to proceed.

In the attached screenshot, the account highlighted in maroon is the one which I want to remove.

    If there is no Disconnect option on that Emails and Accounts setting page, go to Accounts - Access Work or School, is there a 'Disconnect' option on that account on tat setting page?

    On the top level account page click on the "access work or school". Refer this image. Bottom option

    There you can remove school accounts. It's stupid that it's a different but practically identically looking menu to the "email and accounts" one.

    Hi! I actually found this fix myself. When you're in Settings > Accounts, scroll down to Access work or school and you'll see the work/school account listed there. You'll be able to remove it from that settings panel, vs Email & accounts. Hope this helps!
