GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

This is a message I sent to Brother:

Customer By Service Web (ROBERT HOOPER) (08/06/2023 06:55 AM) I have a Brother model HLL2370-DW printer and when it comes out of deep sleep it prints a message GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1,1 Host: localhost. This starting happening after I upgraded the WIN10 computer and got a new one with WIN11. It is connected by the USB cable not WiFi. I have re-installed the firmwear and printer, tried different USB ports, made sure it had the up to date drivers. Also unchecked the boxes for informational notifications for local printers in the print server properties but it makes no difference. Every time out of deep sleep it prints the extra page. Could this be a Microsoft WIN11 issue that they have not updated yet or is this something Brother has to update? It is not being used as a network printer. This is the message I got back:

Response By Email (Kyle) (08/07/2023 10:07 AM)<br>Hi Robert,Thanks for reaching out to Brother Canada. You may need to reinstall the drivers of your printer, here's how:<ol><li><p data-prewrap="true">Start by opening Brother Utilities > Tools > Uninstall > Restart PC to get rid of any remaining files</p></li><li><p data-prewrap="true">Head here and download the drivers for Windows 11: <a href="https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadend.aspx?c=ca&lang=en&prod=hll2370dw_us&os=10068&dlid=dlf103392_000&flang=4&type3=11" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" title="support.brother.com">https://support.brother.com/g/b/downloadend.aspx?c=ca&lang=en&prod=hll2370dw_us&os=10068&dlid=dlf103392_000&flang=4&type3=11</a></p></li><li><p data-prewrap="true">Follow the on-screen instructions for the driver installation and restart your PC once more to complete it.</p></li></ol><br>Please let us know if you have any other question.<br><br>*** This seemed to have solved my problem so far not getting the extra sheet printing.

Mine is off and I still get the annoying printed page. It is wasting my paper and toner.
