Does no one bother reading the title of the thread? This thread was created to deal with a problem with REALTEK AUDIO. Not Intel or any other audio problems. If people are having problem with Intel audio drivers, I am sure there are threads out there to deal with that but this is not one of them. It would be appreciated if people would stick to the topic which is REALTEK AUDIO problems.

    Thank you.

Go into device manager and disable your audio card, then enable it again and see if that helps. If not, you can do what I have done and uninstall your audio card, followed by a search for new hardware which will install it again. That should break contact with whatever app may be blocking your audio card.

I have the same problem both with sounds and with microphone.

The sound soulution worked for me was:

    • Sound settings / Properties / Sound enhancemend => from "default device effects" to "turn off".

But I still have the problem with microphone; i tried the Bernard's method and this doesnt work for me. Do you have the same issues with it or only with audio?
