Hi All,
I have a Brother DCP-7065DN multi-function machine, connected to my Windows 11 desktop computer. I was having some problems with a label printer and pursuant to that I disinstalled the Brother software and re-installed it. Since the re-install, the Brother printer driver installed but the scanner driver installation failed. I've tried multiple times.
Brother has noted this as a problem with Windows 11 Version 24H2. (See attached link.)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Other users in this forum have reported the scanning problem has been fixed for them; there are a couple of different solutions.
Latest solution indicated Microsoft has released a fix (or patch) for this problem.
If you have not already installed 2025-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5055523) please do so now.
This is available through Windows Updates.
It has been reported this fixes the error of the scanner not able to connect to the computer.
If you have installed this update, and its still not working, suggest uninstalling and reinstalling your printer/scanner software.
Hope this help, good luck.
