Win 11 ver. 24H2 causing Brother scanning driver install to fail. How to fix?
Hi All,
I have a Brother DCP-7065DN multi-function machine, connected to my Windows 11 desktop computer. I was having some problems with a label printer and pursuant to that I disinstalled the Brother software and re-installed it. Since the re-install, the Brother printer driver installed but the scanner driver installation failed. I've tried multiple times.
Brother has noted this as a problem with Windows 11 Version 24H2. (See attached link.)
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
Thanks.
Nancy

2025-01-19T21:32:44+00:00 Glad to see someone posted about this. I've been batting my head against the wall for a week with this one. I recently decided to wipe my drive and reinstall Windows from scratch. Can't get cc4 to install properly since.
Hope there's some kind of a fix soon. Would hate to have to wipe again and start from scratch installing it before 24H2.
