My USB Dongle is broken. Where can I get new USB Dongle for Microsoft Sculpt Wireless Ergonomic Mouse and Keyboard?

Hi Vetrig,

The receiver only works specifically on that keyboard and mouse combo. Getting the receiver replaced might not be possible. Check with our Microsoft Store support team regarding your concern. Use this article.

    Hi all,

    Call the service center which appears to be outsourced by Microsoft in Hong Kong.  The dongle cannot be purchased separately which means my combo will end up in landfill.  Can't you just develop something like logitech USB dongle? So short sighted!!!!

    p.s. I purchased logitech craft and mx master 2 because I completely lose confidence in Microsoft.

    We have come across the same problem at our place of work with this keyboard/mouse combo. I think it's completely unacceptable that you can not get a replacement dongle for this item and 130$ of keyboard/mouse product is to end up in the landfill? I work at Environment Canada and this is enraging. This product is highly rated as being a great Ergonomic choice compared to other brands as well. We are in a situation because I cannot find something as comparable in quality that is both Ergonomic and wireless. I didn't want to have to buy this product all over again just because a tiny, removable part has broken on it. I don't want to support Microsoft by purchase another when I have a perfectly good keyboard and mouse sitting right here. It's almost like Microsoft has done this on purpose for more financial gain without the thought of how it can impact the environment in the long run. Big Shame on you Microsoft! Not sure how you release products like this and that conversation didn't happen around a few meeting room tables.

    I have the same problem.  USB stopped working so the keyboard and mouse are now useless.  I followed the support article mentioned in this string and talked to Microsoft, but they can't help.  I have to buy a new one, even though the product says it has a 3-year warranty and I'm well within that period.  It seems a complete waste to have to throw out a perfectly good keyboard and mouse because of the USB.  Not helping the environmental footprint.  I guess that's what you get if you buy cheap stuff built in China.  I'll look for a more reliable, long-lasting brand I can rely on.
