Ok - This morning I opened Edge (w10) and when I clicked the X to close, it would not close. I tried to minimise and click close, still would not work. I can only close it via task manager or rebooting. Nothing has chnaged since last night, so no idea why it has happened. Is there a simple answer as in apps both uninstall and modify are grayed out.
The PC is mine, not a work one and is W10.

PS - Just tried with my w10 laptop, am able to close edge as normal. So have no idea why the desktop is playing up. Is there a solution?

Same problem here. But in my case, even after using Task Manager to close all "Edge" processes, the unresponsive window remains. I end up having to reboot.
