Type Cover not Working but ...

My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

    Microsoft has not commented on the causes for ANY of these. My best guess is

    that there is something in the update process itself, not any specific update,

    that creates most of these issues. But that is MY *opinion*.

    That reply was to a customer with a different issue, which I called out in that

    thread. He said:" The problem is intermittent, and sometimes I can fix it by

    disconnecting and reconnecting my Surface Cover several times, but mostly I have

    to restart my SP3 several times to get it to work. " - his typecover is not

    totally broken, it works intermittently. I am not asking people with completely

    broken typecover functionality to jump through any hoops.

    I personally have a SP3 with an LGC battery. I DO understand, believe me.

    I fully understand the frustration. And I do not think there will be a fix for

    either issue. I can only suggest (if you want to throw more money at it)
