My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

2019-09-05T08:37:24+00:00 September 2019 latest victim of this disease. The keyboard is completely dead. Plugging in after a thorough depletion of the battery to a point where not even the white low battery appears works but only sometimes. Really frustrated!!!

2019-08-16T16:23:23+00:00 I bought a Logitech K810 Wireless Bluetooth Illuminated Multi-Device Keyboard for PC, Tablets and Smartphones, Black on Amazon for $60+. It works well. Better than buying a new surface.
