Type Cover not Working but ...

My type cover does not work and I left my surface aside the battery drained. I put it in the socket and the type cover worked. What will it be?

    I have been searching all day for the same problem live in Canada and just found out about this enormous Microsoft problem on my surface pro 3. Ok guys this is my second Surface that I buy and let me tell you no more I will turn to Dell

    Same here ... No joy from Microsoft Customer Service , they'd rather hide behind a legal team than admit responsibility.

    My Solution is Buy New Labtop .Now happy with Hp Spctre x360 

    and surface pro 4 leave at home no more surface pro 4 with out typecover it useless...
