My SP4 gets very hot and drains the battery very fast even though it is asleep. I found it very hot in its sleeve and down to 28% earlier today. Found it dead later in the afternoon. This is one of MANY issues this device has.
(My SP4 is not part of the insider program)

Hi All,
We released an update on 2/17/2016 that addresses this issue.
We recommend that you install this update to keep your Surface performing its best. You can get updates now by checking Settings> Update & security> Windows Update.
To confirm the updates are installed, check Settings> Update & security> Windows Update> Advanced options> View your update history.

Just noticed this - although no exclamation in my SP4, I did check the driver date on all those three items and here is what I found...strangely I don't see any drive points to 2/17 update.
- Surface Management Engine - 1/27/2016
- Surface System Aggregator Firmware - 1/27/2016
- Surface UEFI - 1/29/2016
Should I install the update manually? Thanks for clarifying!
I also have no drivers from 2/17. Perhaps this is the root of the problem with the new fix? JOSH?????
Only one more that I can think of.. Do you have the system connected to WIFI while its in sleep or hibernation? This is called connected standby and is the reason my system overheats or drains excessive battery. Make sure that is unchecked in system power and report back after a day or two.

Thanks for the note...my firmware section has no warnings and they all look normal icons. This is after applying 2/17 update, but I still have battery drain and overheating issues in sleep mode. Any other tips?
