Surface Pro 3 Wavy diagonal lines when inking

I've noticed a problem with my surface pro 3 that I have not been able to work around.  When I draw a slow diagonal line, it comes out very wavy and jagged.  If I quickly draw a diagonal, it seems ok.  Has anyone else seen this, is there a fix for it?  seems to happen in every application, so it strikes me as potential hardware.

    please help me to understand the following:

    wavy lines appear when we are drawing straight lines slowly (a lot of datapoints)

    when you draw the same straight line quicker (fewer datapoints, given a constant samplerate), you get straight lines also on the drawingboard...

    why not just fix this with an adjustment on the software side?

    I think that that's something done at the level of the application that you are using. That's what I remember from my little experience developing using the Microsoft.ink.dll

    guess who would want to take a picture of an an a4 handnote....? or businesscards...

    on the bright side:

    the focus is set perfect for taking landscape pictures on very bright sunlight but , good for the dum-dummies who do that with a tablet.....
