Syncing issues with OneDrive shared folders

I have suddenly lost the sync function to 2 important shared folders (ones shared with other people) My other folders and files (not shared) are fine. How can I fix it? For some reason, the folders have been sent to my recycle bin, but I cannot restore them.

    Thanks, this is working so that I have the shared folder set up as a network drive on my PC. I can now upload and download files and folders directly to that. Although it doesn't fix the sharing problem it is a good workaround for now.

    Side note, I can still access other shared folders from other accounts on the web and ondrive app but not this one. I can still access the shared folder when clicking the link in the email but the folder will not show up in the onedrive under "shared" and won't let me create a shortcut to the shred folder.

    Same issue here. Come on Microsoft you have paying customers out here who for some reason still use this system!!!! We have had this issue for over a month now and there is not a word from Microsoft about this issue. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

    There is a message elsewhere from a Microsoft insider explaining that this problem has been caused by Microsoft migrating user data. Shared folders do not work if they are in a different location from the user they are being shared with. As the migration gradually completes, shared folders become available again. There seems to be no solution except waiting for the process to complete for your own and shared folders. This explains why different users are affected at different times and why problem resolution seems random. It's a plausible explanation, but it's still annoying.

    This is really ridiculous.

    I have four shared folders from four different accounts that used to sync with my main OneDrive.

    Two of them still work as expected, but the other two have turned into internet shortcuts. What's strange is that on my Android OneDrive app, one of these two shared folders still appears in my main OneDrive as a normal folder that I can open or make available offline. The other one is in the "Shared with me" section, and I can open it without any issues.

    This is an unacceptable error.

    The other workaround with the Network drive also doesn't work reliably. Getting constant hiccups, connnection unavailable, enter app passwords multiple times despite checking the remember me box.
