In Excel, how do I remove the Quick Access pane in the File Save interface?

The quick access pane is providing links that I do not have write access to and never save to, and I need the 'Browse' folder option at the bottom, which I now have to use the scroll bar in order to select. This is adding extra steps and reducing efficiency, so I would like to remove the Quick Access pane.

    Hello Microsoft,

Please remove this forced feature that is now lowering users' efficiency that require the use of the Save As feature.

None of the Quick Access sites match what is saved in Windows Explorer and are simply based on SharePoint sites users have browsed to, without even subscribing to or adding to SharePoint Favorites.

I second this, the most annoying and unnecessary change to Microsoft Office Apps.

Microsoft needs to add an option to remove this from showing up, not everyone works that way! I built years of muscle memory to save documents and now I'm constantly making these silly mistakes that affect my overall production.

    Microsoft!!!!!!!!!!!! Do Something!!!!!

this is a really annoying and unnecessary addition to the system.

I DO NOT WANT TO SAVE IN SHAREPOINT OR THE CLOUD BY DEFAULT!

I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO MOVE A LIST OF THINGS THAT I DO NOT USE TO GET TO THE FILE LOCATIONS THAT I DO USE

I want the quick access file list to contain the items I put in there, I do not want it to contain anything that someone else thinks I should want to clog up my day.

Please consider that the users possibly know better than you what they want to do.

This is on a par with the famous paper clip, and the automatic desktop clean-up wizard that threw away files that you were working on

It would be fantastic if Microsoft updated that link with how to disable this feature.

Whether it's based on an Insights feature that needs to be disabled on a SharePoint Profile level by the SharePoint administrators or based on whatever recent Office 365 Update that was applied to enable this that is reducing users efficiency far too much.

    Please fix!
