Is Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) Dead? November 2024. I see its migrated to Get Help.
I can't seem to open it anymore.
It was my very effective tool to troubleshoot Office application problems.
Can you help provide alternatives? and must be a Microsoft product like SaRa.
Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.

100% agree. This tool was by far the best thing MS have created since its inception. As you say, obviously, it costs MS too much money to update and maintain. They think they can just feed us scraps and we'll be happy. Well, we're not!
This is such a horrendous decision to axe this tool. One of the few MS utilities that I could count on to resolve issues... The new get help tool is a childs toy in comparison to SARA. What bean counter decided on this?
I have sent an e-mail to the Office team, trying to find out what has happened with the original SARA application. I will post back with any updates I get.

The feedback is definitely being read. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean that all suggestions will be implemented.
Not surprisingly, Microsoft being a commercial business, what they implement will be based on business decisions. For example, if many users request a change, it has a greater chance of coming true.
