Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) is Dead? November 2024

Edit: I might be looking in the wrong direction or cannot find the localised appname.

It looks to me that the 'Get Help App' isnt available in Windows 10?

I recently started to see that SaRa isn't working anymore and am redirected to such Get Help App but I can't find it when using Windows 10.

As an MSP I do support some Windows 10 installations but can't confirm that the app is indeed missing, just can't find it.

Would love to hear if such app is available for Windows 10 -> Get Help App.

Or 'our' Windows 10 installations are different or it's missing by default?

Well I guess tou have to install it from the Microsoft Store. At first I could not find the app but I shared an installed app to obtain the store URL:

I can start Get Help now on Windows 10 :) but RDS Servers are out of luck I guess :(

MS is constantly destroying things that worked fine, instead of resolving issues on things that do not

but hey they look pretty...

FWIW the feedback hub is not too intuitive, took me too long to figure out actually how to create NEW feedback, YIKES

I don't understand why remove it completely all of the sudden. The tool was a major help for us with OneDrive Sync issues. Now we have to plan installing "Get Help" feature to all computers and users.

We as IT personals don't have an issue with downloading the tool every day if we have too, just to solve an issue (This is what is currently mentioned of the SARA tool after installing.)

A solution that took 5 minutes, now it's days (literally a case we have).
