I am having problems with shared folders in OneDrive. They are showing up as internet shortcuts only, I used to have them in File Explorer as a folder that I would click on to access content of that shared folder. My IT person found a website stating that Microsoft is aware of this issue. When will this be fixed?

2025-03-07T20:23:36+00:00 SInce March 7 I've had the frist time the same problem. A few days later it worked again. I only delete the shared folders from my own files and added them again.

2025-03-06T22:33:14+00:00 Don't know if this is getting any attention from anyone at Microsoft, but I'm posting in in the slight hope that someone is listening?! This has just started happening for me too, with a shared folder from a family licence owned by my wife. File sync is now unusable, I am not going to use a web browser every time I want to upload/download a file from a shared folder. Guess what, there are lots of other cloud services that do this seamlessly.
So Microsoft, please fix, or goodbye!

EVERY shortcut stopped working - Uploading Documents now has to be this way:
- Download from OneDrive to C:
- Upload to Webform
- Download somewhere else
- Mix up Document Versions
- Forget Uploading...

Before that, the folder shared with me worked perfectly.
I knew why I had refused to use this annoying OneDrive for so long.
