Yes, except you have to build a flow for it instead of it being native to the app. Not everyone wants to spend the time working with Power Automate, nor should they be expected to.
user mentions are a basic feature that any project tracker tool should utilize. The free version of Trello has this feature.
+1 to all of the requests above. This is urgent for a lot of users who are trying to track team projects using Planner. Please prioritize this feature.

I'm baffled as to why tagging (which is possible pretty much everywhere in Microsoft's office suite) wouldn't be possible in a subsection of MS teams which relies on specific communication capabilities (namely tagging) to get a task done. Please allow references to the active directory in Tasks ASAP as this feature add is long overdue.
We just realized that if you go to the sharepoint site online where that plan is then go to conversations it will open up outlook and you can see all of the comments within outlook. But I wish it would be a notification with teams..
