Folders Shared with me are syncing as internet shortcut in OneDrive on Windows PC

Hi. I had some folders shared from different users in my OneDrive account. I had added the folders to my OneDrive with Add Shortcut to OneDrive button from Shared folders in cloud. The account is logged into a windows pc and every files including the folders shared with my were syncing fine until yesterday. Yesterday night the shared folders were completely removed from the Windows pc and folders are replaced with internet shortcut. This is such a big mess. I have tried unlinking the account and linking it back, changing the location of OneDrive on my windows pc and tried to get a new folder shared to my account and adding it to OneDrive. Nothing works so far. OneDrive has a big part in my daily activities. Please help me resolve this.

Here is the statement from the Microsoft OneDrive product group (Redmond USA) about the OneDrive Personal problem:

***This is related to a backend migration we are doing and unfortunately, we don’t fully support syncing shared folders in the case where one user has migrated and the other has not. We’re doing everything possible to accelerate things so that it can be resolved as soon as possible for users of the feature. When the accounts are migrated, there is automated logic that makes them go back to a syncing folder within several days.***I have heard, that shared Folder issue is gone.
The best thing is: WAIT and do nothing

    They're just silently laughing at us.

    If they cared at least a little they'd surely have done something to help.

    They don't.

    I am getting about 10 messages a day, maybe more, from this topic.

    It's lovely to have volunteer mods but offering us more expensive solutions isn't something we're after. We can open MS Store and shop around.

    We just want to have MS Service to work as expected and for problems to be solved in a timely manner. That's usually 24, 48 HOURS maximum.

    One year and nothing? What is the message you're sending to your costumers?

    I think it starts with an f and ends with a u but MS too much of a wimp to spell it out loudly.

    If we weren't damn lazy, cheap or both we'd be out of here.

    A chat bot is more aware of your product than your own employers that only know how to follow scripts.

    I don't expect real developers to talk to me but I expect real developers to fix issues like this one quickly.

    Sharing folders is a core feature of OneDrive.

    How can this be acceptable????

    I just noticed that there were a very large number of files updating in OneDrive- once that had completed I checked the folders in all accounts and they had reverted from url to folders

    I'm having the same issue, worse yet: I share my folders across all 6 people in my OneDrive network.
    Microsoft is by far the single worst and more incompetent big tech. Their level of amateurship is beyond believable.

    I had enough: I'm canceling my Family Plan, I'll backup all the data I have (at this point, it's easier to ask for a hard-copy blue-ray copy of my data, since Onedrive's download speed is sh*t). Firstly I always have a bad time trying to login with the "this page isn't working" prompt. Now, I cannot even share my folders in a practical way. OneDrive's and Microsoft accounts being hacked like no tomorrow, even the CEOs are getting hacked.

    Microsoft have the worse developers and programmers from all companies.
