Is there any way of forcing OneDrive to sync? Let's say a user uploads a document on one client, and user 2 wants to access that document immediately on his client, but onedrive haven't synced that folder yet.

Is there a way to force a manual sync? Ideally with like a .bat file or something that i can pin to the taskbar that the user can just click to run just to speed up the process

Seems like Pause syncing in the Settings and then followed by "click here to resume syncing" will force a sync.

Is there a command line for these 2 steps?

I tried that option and it did take a long, long time and did *not* fix the issue.

I completely agree with you. This thing is a disaster from the word go. POS. Glad I'm on a Mac. At least the iCloud synchs immediately and is available on all devices quickly.

One issue with my recipe, that was already indicated by some other users is that the OneDrive.EXE location is not identical on all types of Windows installations, so simple copy-pasting of my batch file just doesn't work.

I tried to explain how I figured out the location of this EXE file on my own PC in my answer to Chris Hire. I described in detail the whole process and even made some screenshots to make it easy to follow (this process is quite convoluted, I must admit - so I tried to make my answer clear to even "not tech savvy" users.)

If something is still not working for you - try to provide basic information what is the issue, where it breaks down - then I can try to help. You say - "I tried to follow the directions I found and they didn’t work" - this is not actionable, I don't know what you did and what exactly the issue was, so I can't help you more.

Have you seen my second answer to Chris Hire with the screenshots? Did you try to find correct location of OneDrive.exe on your particular PC?
