At some point in the last couple of days, the default +body/+headings font on my copy of Office 365 changed to the Aptos font. I honestly find it a bit hard to read, and I'd rather choose my default body font from a choice of whatever fonts I have installed. Failing that, I'd take Calibri again. The Aptos font reminds me a lot of
Since this affects all Office products, I can't say go into Outlook and change the stationery fonts; this doesn't impact the Reading Pane. It also wouldn't impact say Word, where I'd have to come up with my own document template to override the change. It doesn't seem to be a registry edit or template file edit, either. Is there a spot that the Aptos font can be changed?

I imagine it is to sabotage competing packages. Aptos doesn't work in WPS Office and renders as a set of dingbats. You can fix it easily enough once you figure out what is going on, but many users will just revert to Word and give up on inserting pictures or bullet lists.
I can't see why Microsoft acting like a dictator is FORCING us to use Aptos. I deal with Govt. departments who specify their font and get really annoyed when your applications change the font. So changing them back wastes time.
Also I have templates that are set up for Calibri that are now out-of-whack and I have to waste hours fixing the templates.
Microsoft's decision to screw everyone by forcing this change is unwelcome and looks like an ego trip for one of your executives. Just because microsoft like it in the US, doesn't mean that others do around the world, which goes to show microsoft arrogance, ignorance and disregard for others. As a result, I have no respect for anyone in microsoft and I can understand why people target Americans, you're just plain rude and egotistical.
The solution would be to allow people to change this dictatorial decision and enable a font to be set across the system rather than for each application individually and also to remove the Cloud fonts.
This didn't work. New files still default to the dreaded Aptos, and Adobe PDF doesn't recognize Aptos. I do not like Aptos.
Hello!
I have changed all the settings within Outlook (both in the options and set as default on style) to Calibri size 11.
However, Outlook will change the font back to Aptos size 12 while I'm typing.
I'll be typing in Calibri, hit enter to continue the next line, and now I'm back in Aptos.
Is there a way to keep Outlook from changing the font and font size while I'm typing?
It's frustrating to have to reformat all your text constantly because Outlook keeps reverting to Aptos even though I have everything set to Calibri.

I very much appreciate your answer above. Unfortunately the screenshot shown does not match my Outlook installation (Outlook 365, version 2407, build 17830.200094). The Styles section is not available:
I am looking for an option to set a new style as standard in Outlook, but I cannot find it.
In Word and Excel the option "Set as standard" is available, but not in Outlook.
