office365 App download/installation for macOS Big Sur 11.7.10

I have just tried to download and install the office365 apps, but received the notification that the install needs Mac OS 12. I am running Mac OS 11. But can't seem to find the office365 download version for os11. From where can I install the latest office365 apps for my MacBook running Big Sur 11.7.10?

For some reason I am unable to upload a screenshot of the error message. So the error message reads:

Software Requirement

This software requires macOS version 12.0 or later.

Same trouble here - my child's MacBook Air can't be upgraded to Monterey, so I could not install from office.com or the Appstore.

But thanks to the www, I found a way.

Have a look here: https://macadmins.software/

There I found a list of versions available. Version 16.77 should run on Big Sur and there is a link to the installer for the suite (https://officecdnmac.microsoft.com/pr/C1297A47-86C4-4C1F-97FA-950631F94777/MacAutoupdate/Microsoft_365_and_Office_16.77.23091003_Installer.pkg)

I downloaded the installer and ran on 11.7.9 Big Sur.

    letting everyone know that I contacted MS support and the agent helped download a version of MS office 2019 that runs on Mac OS Big Sur 11.7.10. I recommend that anyone how cannot upgrade to Mac OS 12 should contact MS support to resolve their issue,

    I had the same problem when I tried to install 16.77.1 (with the release date Sept 19) but it worked fine when I first un-installed the applications (moving the MS apps in the app library to the bin) and then running the install package for 16.77 (release date Sept 12, version ID 16.77 (23091003)).

    I also have Big Sur 11.7.10 on my 2014 IMac.

    Thanks, Der Hannie, I am running an older Mac (2015) a well and tried the installer link that you recommended but the installer has stalled and is instructing me to upgrade my OS (currently running macOS Big Sur version 11.7.10)- which I cant do. How did you get around this?
