Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Many thanks

Same! Woke up to 84 new emails when 5-10 is normal. I can’t take this!

Because I looked at the typed address behind the hypertext and I pinged it. It's coming from a legit Microsoft email account, but it's certainly a phishing attempt because the info is fake, and the links have redirects that don't go to Microsoft.

I am having the same issue and it is incredibly frustrating! I tried the Contact Support and discovered that is not working either. Microsoft needs to address this issue immediately.

DO NOT reply to those, they are scam emails. Nobody in Russia has accessed your account. I had the same spam coming for a month every day saying someone from RUSSIA had hacked my email. Go directly to your account do not click on anything in that email! BE WARNED
